A significant component of good oral health involves regular dental hygiene check-ups. Cleaning, fluoride application and an overall oral examination are generally provided on a 6-month basis for our patients. X-rays, as needed, are generally taken on an annual basis. This strategy contributes significantly to elimination of gum problems, teeth sensitivity and early detection of other oral problems before they become advanced in nature. We teach our patients to floss, brush and offer counseling for bad breath elimination.
Periodontal (gum) disease is directly linked to general health factors like heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, making good oral health extremely important. We are committed to helping our patients maintain good overall health including blood pressure monitoring. Your health is important to us!
